About IAP Raigad

We are an Association of Paediatricians, Practicing in Raigad district. Raigad IAP started functioning in 2000 . Senior Experienced paediatrician Dr. Rajiv Dhamankar (Alibaug), Dr. Sanjay Mapara (Mahad), Dr. Chandrashekhar Dabhadkar (Mahad), Dr. P. B. Jain (Karjat) were instrumental in formation and growth of this association. We are around 70 members at present. A large number of Paediatrician from Panvel and remote areas like Mahad, Mangaon, Roha, Uran, Alibaug are enthusiastic members. Long distance between these places did not prove to be a hurdle in communicating and strong bonding. Raigad IAP is blessed with active presence of our own Dr. Mahesh Mohite (Panvel), very well known and knowledgable intensivist . Though Raigad IAP was taking baby steps in initial years, now it has started handling major responsibilities. A few to mention, AWESOME 2010, GROWTH AND DEVLOPMENT, BEHAVIOUR CHAPTER NATIONAL CONFERNCE 2014 were very successful activities. This was first time a National Conference organized without help of pharmaceutical company sponsorship. And we conduct monthly clinical meetings.
